About this policy
This policy describes the current Laurence Deer website. It covers enquiries by email and the Google Maps embed. It does not describe client analytics accounts or other systems used during a separately agreed SEO engagement.
Information on this website
When you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use this information to respond to your enquiry and discuss the services you request. Email is handled through our email provider. Please do not send passwords or sensitive account credentials.
The website does not include analytics, advertising pixels, a newsletter subscription or an online payment service. Fonts and website images are served with the site. Technical requests are still necessary to deliver pages, and infrastructure may process connection details such as IP addresses, requested URLs and request times.
Google Maps and cookies
The Contact page includes Google Maps. When the map loads, your browser connects to Google. Google may process your IP address, browser information and activity, and use cookies or other storage under its own policies and your settings. The map does not require you to enter your location into our website.
Laurence Deer has not added first-party tracking cookies. This does not mean third-party embeds are cookie-free. You can manage cookies through your browser and Google account settings. Blocking third-party services may prevent the map from appearing; the written address remains available.
External websites
Article sources and Google Maps links take you to services operated by others. Their privacy practices apply when you visit them. Google may process information outside Australia; its policy explains its international processing practices.
